Weekly Get-to-Know-Paris Challenge #4!

March 16, 2012

This week’s get-to-know-Paris challenge is for anyone, whether you live in Paris or on the other side of the world:

Pick up a new book on Paris!

Galerie Vivienne

Yesterday, I posted my thoughts on David Lebovitz’s The Sweet Life in Paris. Now it’s your turn to read something new about this city we all love. I just added a few new books to my Amazon.com “wishlist” after reading Heather of Secrets of Paris’s latest newsletter: Paris to the Past by Ina Caro, Strangers in Paris edited by David Barnes and Megan Fernandes, and Balzac’s Omelette: A Delicious Tour of French Food and Culture with Honoré de Balzac by Anka Muhlstein. I also recently added Amy Thomas’ Paris, My Sweet after the positive publicity this new book has received on blogs such as Paris Imperfect.

Let us know what you pick! And when you finish, let us know if you would recommend it to others!
