Looking for a Brittany Getaway Home?

We are looking for a housemate in Brittany!

For those of you following this blog for a while now, you know how much I love Brittany. You can see all my posts on this beautiful region here.

Baden

We have a four-bedroom house in the very center of an adorable town (Baden – 56870), just a mile or so from the water, from the Gulf of Morbihan.

It’s nice to have a car to explore the region, but there’s a butcher, bakery, coffee bar/tabac, hair/nail salons, wine shop, library, mini museum and the world’s BEST crêperie all within a 100 meters or so and a supermarket and pharmacy 300m away.

Baden is a fantastic base for exploring the region, or for just staying close to home and taking advantage of the hiking and cycling trails.

Baden-3

We are ideally looking to sublet one very large bedroom to one person or a couple who would like a weekend or summer getaway spot.

The nearest TGV stations are only 10 minutes (Auray) and 15 minutes (Vannes) away, so it’s an ideal weekend house for Paris residents. But you’re welcome to spend as much time there as you like!

Baden-2

We are flexible on arrangements and open to suggestions, but we would prefer to sublet on a long-term basis starting this spring or summer.

We would need to work out the exact price (depending on if you’re 1 or 2 people and how often you’d expect to be there), but it would for sure be a great deal!

The whole house (4 bedrooms, 3 floors, 1 full bathroom, 2 half baths, terrace) is nicely furnished; you would just have to furnish your bedroom.

The two of us currently on the lease are rarely ever there. You would realistically have the whole house to yourself most of the year.

Please help me spread the word! Happy to chat about alternative arrangements as well (possibility of shorter rentals, renting two rooms, renting a smaller, cheaper room instead, etc.) If you’re interested or have questions, please email me at parisweekender@gmail.com.
