Weekly Get-to-Know-Paris Challenge #34!

October 12, 2012

This week’s get-to-know-Paris challenge is to invite one of your colleagues out to lunch.

Get to know the people you work with. Especially for us expats, Parisian co-workers can be an invaluable resource for ideas for exploring France, restaurant recommendations and cultural tidbits. And sometimes you will be surprised at how appreciative they can be if you take the initiative and make the first friendly gesture. Do you work alone? There is bound to be a community of people doing similar work. I, for example, have met a number of “colleagues” in the blogging community through meet-ups and other blogger gatherings. It’s always good to have the support of others who understand the work!

Do you find your office to be more or less friendly than your offices back home (wherever “back home” may be)?
