Airline & Airport Magazines

August 03, 2016

Do you pick up those freebie magazines in the pocket of the seat in front of you when you’re flying on a low cost airline? Or on the racks by your boarding gate at the airport? If not, you should.

These magazines are not particularly high budget. But I’ve found that similarly, they are not targeted at travelers with a particularly high budget. The suggestions are for travelers with reasonable budgets who want to get experience a new city more like a local, to find a new restaurant or shop in a city they’ve been to 20 times before, or to get off the beaten track a bit.

The Easyjet and Ryanair magazines are two of my favorites. You can also check out additional material on the airlines’ blogs. In fact, I was approached about writing a small blurb for the Ryanair blog a while back. You can read it here.
