Picnics Going Green

September 14, 2016

Thanks to The Local for reporting yesterday that we’re in for some changes when it comes to our Paris picnics!

France is slowly going green and this is one of the next steps. It won’t take effect until 2020, but when it does, you will no longer be allowed to purchase single-use plastic silverware, cups or plates allowed at picnics. It may take some getting used to, but it will make our picnics classier!

Read The Local’s full article for some more details on the plastics ban. And is alcohol allowed at picnics? Read about that here.

You may also have noticed that France banned (most) plastic bags as of July 1, 2016. You can read that story here.
