Free IKEA Shuttles!

Did you know that there are free shuttles from central Paris to IKEA?

My IKEA bookshelf put to good use

There’s a shuttle to IKEA Paris Nord (the store you see on the way to CDG Airport) that leaves from Place de Clichy and Gare de l’Est and takes about 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

From the Gare de l’Est (7-9 rue du 8 mai, 75010 Paris), the shuttle leaves at 9am, 10am, 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. it returns at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm.

From Place de Clichy (24 Bd des Batignolles, 75008 Paris), the shuttle leaves at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It returns at noon, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm.

There is also a shuttle from Denfert-Rochereau (77 bd Saint-Jacques, 75014 Paris) to IKEA Thiais at 11am, 1:30pm and 4pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, returning at 3pm, 4:30pm, 6pm and 7:30pm.

And finally, a new free shuttle is also available from Bastille (in front of the Opera) to IKEA Paris Villiers. This shuttle takes only 20-30 minutes and runs quite frequently on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. See the exact schedule here.

The days of overpaying for a taxi home from IKEA are over!
